Marbling Madness

Silverlake

Marbling is the centuries-old art form of floating paint on water, creating designs using special tools, and then transferring the image to paper. The patterns are the result of color floated on either plain water or a viscous solution, and then carefully transferred to an absorbent surface, such as paper or fabric. We had a blast creating colorful textiles with vibrant palettes. Every participant chose their colors and made their own patterns. It was a rainbow day!
