March is for Marbling.

Our Japanese marbling experience is a quiet, contemplative practice rooted in centuries-old tradition. Over the course of this two-hour, small-group session, participants are guided through the meditative process of floating ink on water and gently shaping it into delicate, organic patterns before transferring each design onto paper and coasters. It’s like a yoga class meets art.

This slow, intentional practice invites presence, patience, and observation—there’s no rushing, only responding to what unfolds. As the ink moves, participants learn to release control and work with chance.

We’ll work with Japanese rice paper and paper coasters, creating a curated set of marbled pieces for each participant. The session is calming and grounding, designed to help teams slow down, breathe, and connect while creating something unexpectedly beautiful together.

Crave at the Magic Shop is a small, intimate creative gathering designed for connection, conversation, and hands-on making. Hosted around a shared table for six, this monthly experience invites people to slow down, work with their hands, and meet new friends through guided art activities.

This is not a class where you’re trying to “get it right.”
It’s about showing up, making something, and enjoying the people around the table.

Each session centers around one thoughtfully curated creative activity — approachable, playful, and tactile. You’ll be guided step by step, with plenty of room to explore, experiment, and chat.
