Textured and therapeutic, the Moss WALL Art experience provides you the opportunity to connect with mother nature while bringing out your inner artist.
Who is this experience for? Everyone looking to relax. We lead the group through a mindful “forest bathing meditation.” We listen to the sounds of the forest. This experience is grounded and calming, helping participants destress with an art form that engages all of our senses. It’s tactile, abstract and fun for all. It’s an experience where everyone will feel “successful,” as there’s no judgment with moss
This class will dive into the art of making a beautiful moss art piece. Inspired by the natural beauty of our California redwood forests, we will mainly be working with three types of preserved moss and foliage to bring a piece of mossy heaven to your home. We will make a dimensional 3D shadow box and are now offering kits in 3 sizes. The extra large kits now include hand foraged moss/lichen from a local estate in Napa Valley.

Interested in an extra special experience? Our new deluxe kits have a large 12” round panel that will great maximum impact to decorate your home or office. These kits also include hand foraged mosses and lichens from a local Napa Valley estate.
KIT OPTION: NEW MINI KITS
If your team is looking for a mindful experience and are on a budget, our new Mini kits are a perfect offering. The kits include 3 x 6” hexagonal wall hangings. We lead the class through a mindful “forest bathing” meditation, then dive into making art that is both therapeutic and calming.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Do I need to prep anything for the workshop?
We will do everything together during the day of our experience. We include a plastic table cover in the kit. You can prep a table area the size of the table cover or a bit smaller. We recommend setting up by an electric outlet as we need to plug in the glue gun during the workshop.
How do these ship?
Our kits ship via UPS ground. You should receive an email with tracking number and a second email with delivery confirmation. Please be aware of the delivery day. If you do not receive your kit and it says delivered, please let your organizer know so they can reach out to us.
What happens when I get my kit? Do I need to refrigerate the contents or open anything?
The kits do not need to be refrigerated. Please store indoors in a dry place until the start of the workshop.
Is Maintenance Required? Do I need to water?
What we have is the maintenance-free preserved moss which is made with real, fresh moss. Preserved moss will keep green for many years without any maintenance or water use at all. Real moss and ferns, harvested from forest, are preserved using non-toxic food-grade ingredients. Since it is preserved, the moss does not wilt and does not require water. The result is an ever-green artwork - a "plant painting" - that looks stunning and requires no maintenance whatsoever.
