PRIVATE SILKSCREEN WORKSHOP

Art during Covid times can be a challenge. We believe in coming together with Art, and want to do this in a responsible way. When Napa Artist Aaliya inquired about learning screen printing, we knew this art form should be taught in person. We decided to teach it outside on her patio, while socially distancing.

Hosting a Silkscreen workshop under the olive trees in the beautiful Napa Valley was truly a beautiful experience, especially in these stay at home times. Wearing masks and socially distancing outside didn’t take away from the fun! Creatives make it happen no matter what. Aaliya and Maria totally rocked screenprinting on their first try.

I first approached Agnes of Creative Workshop to learn about screen printing, something that as an artist I had yet to explore. Her beautiful work attracted me, and I wanted to learn her screen printing method.
Little did I know it would turn out to be a one of the most fun, exciting and therapeutic art forms.

Agnes, is a patient and experienced instructor. She led us step by step through the process explaining in detail what, how, and why of the technical process of screen printing. Once set up, the fun begin and the experience of creating beautiful prints at each pull of the paint, and the surprise at what would show up on the other side of the screen was the most exciting part. Screen printing has turned out to be almost a meditative art form for me. It helps me explore and focus on my art on a small scale and allows me to experience the same idea in unique variations

Thank you Crave Workshop for doing a private workshop and helping people explore their creativity safely in these difficult times.
