Block printing is one of the most ancient types of printmaking and an excellent way to make something beautiful by hand. Printing — the simple act of repetition — helps us slow down and build mindfulness. We will provide custom designed blocks for you use to create a unique patterned textile. To warm up, we will hand print wall art and then create our own patterned tote bags. You’ll be rewarded with your complex finished products that showcase this careful process. We will focus on pattern design and color play.

In our brand new Screen Printing Wall Art Workshop, artist Agnes Pierscieniak welcomes you into her colorful, pattern-filled world! In this hands on workshop, spend the evening learning how to screen print some new wall art. Agnes will be sharing some special screens created from her travels to India. With a fun focus on creating color palettes, finding inspiration and designing your own image combinations, Agnes will inspire you to create some screen printing magic of your own. The possibilities are endless once you master the techniques!

WHAT TO BRING: No experience necessary, all materials are provided, all you need to do is bring yourself Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting splashed with ink!

WHAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME: You will go home with lots of printed goodies!
